2016 Modern Arnis Unity Camp – Dan Anderson Sessions
$25.00
The 2016 Modern Arnis Unity Camp was a prominent Filipino Martial Arts (FMA) gathering held in Livonia (near Detroit), Michigan. The camp served as a gathering for practitioners dedicated to preserving and expanding the legacy of the late Professor Remy Presas, the founder of Modern Arnis. The Unity Camp focused on bringing together different lineages, organizations, and practitioners under a shared spirit of brotherhood, collaboration, and political neutrality across the Modern Arnis community.
I taught a couple of classes at the 2016 Modern Arnis Unity Camp on the subject of arnis free-fighting. I go over Set Point as well as the Four Component Points to Counter the Counter. I made reference to the Fast Track Arnis Training Program Vol. 5 DVD. I shot this accompanying video at my karate school for the camp. The video footage turned out unclear and the sound was worse. The presentation did not match the quality of the material presented. Needless to say, I never issued the DVD commercially. Recently I found an online service that cleans up the audio very nicely. I also found out how to clean up the video as well. This is the cleaned up version of the video footage.
Neither the cleaned up video nor the audio are perfect. There are several words that are a little clipped. The original footage was that bad. That being said, I included one clip of the original footage to show you the difference the corrections make.
