The Classical Styles of Modern Arnis

The Classical Styles of Modern Arnis brings the roots of Prof. Remy Presas into relevance with the latter day developments.  Up until now, the classical styles such as Rompida, Banda y Banda, Figure 8 and others have been relegated to status of  “past material” while the semi-free sparring and Tapi-Tapi have taken the center stage in Modern Arnis training.  This three DVD set brings together the earlier material in line with the latter day developments to bring about a complete view of the master’s art.

Prof. Anderson has used his over 50 years of martial arts experience to make this happen.

Disc 1 goes over the differences and similarities of the blade and the stick, characteristics of motion, offensive and defensive approaches and much more.
Disc 2 includes the classical methods themselves, how they are used both offensively and defensively as well as flow drills to enhance your facility in using them.
Disc 3 is a special bonus video of Prof. Anderson teaching the Hidden Bladework Within Modern Arnis to students of Mark Lynn’s Hidden Sword Dojo.
