Outline of Budo Science – Vol. II – The Journey

How does one go from raw beginner to finding his own voice in his martial arts journey?

This book is a prequel to a book I wrote in 2024, Outline of Budo Science. Budo Science is the term I use as an encapsulation of six decades of my training, research and findings in martial arts.

This book takes you through my journey from Karate and Arnis to Budo Science.  My research has ranged from both internal and external Chinese arts to Indonesian, Russian and Filipino arts    to American boxing and wrestling. Some I trained in, others I studied their principles and concepts. I felt there had to be some sort of connecting thread between all martial arts.

And I found them.

This is not a day by day memoir but instead it follows my train of thought as I developed my own art. In it you will see the realization of an instructor and will give you steps to exceed your own expectations!

It is my desire that my journey aids your your own!
